This morning as I was logging into my computer, I realized that for years my subconscious has been telling me that there's a rude way of typing. When you learn to type, you're taught to shift with the opposite hand than the one typing the capital letter. For some reason a part of me has always thought it was bad manners to shift with the same hand that is typing the letter.
Where did I come up with an idea like that?

Old man hands! You should have found some young ones! And when I saw the title, I thought you were going to post about how your pinky finger always comes up when you are eating or drinking or something. Although I haven't noticed that. But I thought it would be funny...and kinda fruity:-) But a lot of guys do it. Cracks me up. I experimented and typed some stuff capitalizing each word just to see if I do the same thing as you and I most definitely do not. If I am typing a capital W, I shift with the lefty pinky. So rude :-)
I guess I'm rude quite frequently, since I almost always shift with the left hand.
